Bring on 2018!

WE’VE GOT BIG THINGS PLANNED FOR THIS YEAR! HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THE PACKETFABRIC TEAM IN 2018.

2017 was a huge year for PacketFabric.

Since launching at PTC 2017 in January, we’ve expanded to more than 150 locations in 17 U.S. markets, built numerous partnerships to enrich our ecosystem, became an official AWS Networking Competency Partner, launched our dedicated point-to-point networking product, started our official channel partner program, and started making plans for expansion outside of the United States.

Last year was big for us, and 2018 is going to be even bigger. Here’s a sample of what you can expect from us this year.

Connectivity to Your Favorite Cloud Providers

Secure, high-bandwidth connectivity to cloud service providers has emerged as a popular use case for the PacketFabric platform. It’s no surprise our customers want secure, scalable connectivity to cloud products such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, IBM Cloud, and Packet.

We’re working with major cloud service providers to enable simple, instantaneous cloud connectivity from any location on our massive network. This past November, we were officially recognized as an AWS Networking Competency Partner, as well as an AWS Direct Connect partner.

Later this month, we’ll be officially releasing our dedicated cloud connectivity product. If you’d like to get immediate access, don’t hesitate to reach out to us!

PacketFabric Comes to Strategic Locations in Canada, EU & APAC

In 2017, our network engineering team was focused on expanding our presence across the United States. Our intention has always been to bring on-demand, hyper scalable and secure networking to a global audience.

We’ve recently reached an agreement with Aqua Comms to take advantage of AEConnect, its transatlantic subsea cable system, to expand our network outside of the United States. However, our partnership with Aqua Comms is just the first step. Our team is working to expand our presence into Canada, Europe, and Asia.

If you’re one of the many customers who have asked us “When are you coming to Tokyo?” or “Can I get a port in London?” or “Where can I connect to PacketFabric in Vancouver?” hang in there. We’re on the way!

Easy to Consume Networking Services for Everyone

We do a lot more than secure cloud connectivity. PacketFabric exists to automate and simplify all manner of networking applications, and in 2018 we’ll continue rolling out new products and services to solve networking problems.

For example, we’ve seen a lot of demand for secure access to peering services provided by Internet Exchanges. We’ve already partnered with several well-known IX partners, including AMS-IX and DE-CIX, and in 2018 we’ll be launching an IX connectivity product to make these services easier to access.

Happy 2018, Everyone!

We’ve spent the last few years laying the groundwork for our revolutionary approach to software-defined networking:

  • Built to scale effortlessly
  • Automatic redundancy built into the fabric
  • Every feature API-first
  • Cost-effective pricing
  • Flexible, month-to-month business terms

Our platform succeeds when our customers and partners succeed. We’ll continue listening to you as we build out our vision, creating products to solve long standing problems and new challenges to make network services easier to consume and manage.

Come along and join us, it’s going to be a fun ride!
