The Challenge

Acting as a conduit for all of its customers’ cloud usage, Opti9 utilizes AWS as a key component of its disaster recovery and offsite backup services. Many of Opti9’s clients have intensive security and compliance requirements, and Opti9 needed to expand its options for sending traffic to AWS over a secure network. However, the Opti9 team needed flexibility to meet diverse customer connection needs without having to make large up-front infrastructure commitments.

The Solution

Opti9 evaluated the PacketFabric Network-as-a-Service that offers hosted and dedicated Direct Connect secure connectivity to multiple AWS on-ramps. By connecting to the PacketFabric network, Opti9 could provide easy-to-provision, secure access to AWS via a single network and interface.

Opti9 Adds On-Demand Secure AWS Connectivity for Enterprise Customers with PacketFabric

The Results

Opti9 was able to rapidly gain secure connectivity to AWS on behalf of its customers. Since PacketFabric offers on-demand private connections to other cloud providers, Opti9 was also able to easily support multi-cloud networking, giving customers greater flexibility.

“Opti9 got up and running with AWS connectivity through PacketFabric very quickly, said Sagi Brody, Opti9’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO). “ Our customers are very compliance and security minded, and being able to send traffic to AWS over PacketFabric’s secure network has been a huge win for us.”
